A major benefit
for my project is having that feeling of helping someone out. Donating any amount
of food to help a family in need. Not everybody has the luxury of having a full
stomach and by helping a family in need you will feel good about yourself. “The truth is that hunger in United States is a huge
problem. In a country known for its wealth and prosperity, 50 million

Times are definitely tough, now a day it’s hard for some families to be
able to provide a good meal. “The face of hunger has changed. No longer is it just the
homeless man on the street reaching out for a helping hand, but millions of
everyday people struggling to feed their families. No one is a stranger

So this is a big problem my food drive will try to tackle. The growing
number of hard working families that are trying their best but cannot fully
provide a meal some nights. A benefit
would be being able to help somebody who would otherwise be too embarrassed to
ask for it. We all need help sometime and being able to help somebody who is
less fortunate than you or may just be struggling with money and be forced to
make a decision between paying a bill or buying groceries will make you feel
great about yourself. “The

The ultimate benefit from this project is just having that satisfaction
of knowing your helping one of the many struggling people out there to have at
least one good meal for the day.

EOC Week 9: Three Great Mission Statements

Beauty and the Bully is "To spread the word about the seriousness of
bullying. Our mission is to inspire youth to speak only kind
words, and teach that it takes a kind heart and mouth to be truly
beautiful”. I think this is a good statement beacse it tackles a very strong
subject which is bullying. It is a growing problem amongst our youth and its
nice to see someone taking stand to help put an end to it.

“The mission statement of the "ONE NIGHT FOR MUSIC. ONE NIGHT FOR
SHELTER" charity is to raise awareness on the ongoing poverty crisis in
the city of Las Vegas.” Another subject that needs a look at is the poverty
crisis in Las Vegas. The whole mission statement for this was project was laid
out perfectly. It tells you what they plan to do and how they plan to do it.

Love! This mission statement hits you right in the heart! It promotes a sense
of feeling good by helping out others. Putting forth your efforts for a good

(Marketing An Introduction pg5.) The three above mission statements that
I chose are all really good in my opinion. They each give you a clear statement
of what it is that they want to accomplish exactly with their projects. They all
have different things they would like to accomplish and their mission
statements let you know what exactly that is.

Week 8 EOC: Creative Content
To help
promote the food drive I want to have an ad on the radio. The basics of it are
just to put the word out on the food drive to get people to come donate food. It
would say things along the lines of the location of where the food drive will
be held, what kind of items they may bring or are wanted, and from what times
the food drive would be open. Another thing I would like to do is to have an
announcement on the local news to again help promote the food drive and get
more people to come. It would have the same basic concept as the radio ad just announcing
the date, time and location of the food drive. While at the food drive I would
like to record the people donating or take pictures and at the end of it all
make a big thank you collage for all of their contributions and on this collage
have pictures of them as well as of the different food baskets that we were
able to put together for some of the families around the valley. Have an idea
of hanging the collage at the mall the food drive was held that way whenever
they come back to shop they can see pictures of what their donations helped to
put together for someone else.
Implementation Evaluation Control
"Marketing implementation is the process that turns marketing plans into marketing actions in order to accomplish strategic marketing objectives" the final plans are all in check and the food drive is ready to go into action. it will be held at meadows mall from 10am-6pm, with the help of MoveForHunger. Radio commercial will be played prior to the event to help bring in more people to donate. The Facebook page "Fight the Hunger Food Drive" will further help create a buzz and bring in more followers to the food drive.
Price
"Price is the amount of money customers must pay to obtain the product." but in this case there is no price on my project. The only thing the individual will spend is time, the time it takes to simply drop off food and help somebody else out.
Promotion
"Promotion means activities that communicate the merits of the product and persuade target customers to buy it". It is very important to get the word out about my project. i plan too do this by having ads play on the radio. it'll be simple dialogue basically saying where the food drive will take place, what times it will run thru and what items they may be able to bring and will also give credit to Move For Hunger for helping to put the food drive together. A facebook page will be put together with the title "Fight The Hunger Food Drive" it will contain all of the necessary information needed to keep up with the event.
